CSR Funding as the Source of Finance photoThe trend with corporations of today is that they have greater awareness toward the so called corporate social responsibilities. While the practice can be various, the principle of CSR is that the corporation has a contribution to finance the community’s efforts in various fields.

However, it is not difficult to take the concept into the field. To finance community means to manage the funding for a lot of ideas and different people. The common strategy in making use of the funding made available by corporations is by delegating the management to a non-profit organization. While such organization does not have the economic obligation to the donor, the funding should be managed as carefully as possible. That is why professional aid workers are needed to run the management of the fund in a non-profit organization. But the distribution of the fund should be arranged to be as effective as possible.

The classic method in distributing CSR funding is by channeling the fund for infrastructure construction. However, there are still many options for distributing the fund. To finance the community’s education through scholarships program is one of the options. If managed right, such program will have long term benefit, economically and socially, for community as well as corporation.
